General Manager Steve Scheideler came to Mahnke in 2017 with deep, wide, and diversified auto body management experience. Throughout his career as a General Manager, Steve has contributed greatly in the building of highly successful auto body shops, both independently owned and national franchises, throughout the Denver Metro area.
Steve grew up in the automotive industry and received a valuable education through Longmont High School’s Career Development, which included hands-on experience in rebuilding and overhauling engines, brake systems, and transmissions. After graduation he worked on everything from semi-trucks to domestic and foreign vehicles. His early years in detailing, auto body paint, and collision repair gave him a solid grasp of the dynamics of driving work through the repair process, staying on top of scheduling and quality control.
Adept at adapting to new circumstances, technology, organizational and operating systems, Steve is committed to making certain that the collision repairs and auto body paint Mahnke provides is always done correctly, using the most current manufacturers’ specifications. He commits himself to listening attentively to customers and employees. Steve’s personal “win” is building excellent teams, trusting them to perform their jobs with skill and integrity. To do so, he provides each employee with a wide range of challenging opportunities, strengthening their skills in problem solving, cross training and I-CAR classes. I-CAR is the Inter-Industry Conference on Auto Collision Repair, an international not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing the information, knowledge and skills required to perform complete, safe and quality repairs.
